Guys and Gals

I certainly hope teenage guys don't read blogs, because today, I feel the need to rant about them. If there's one thing I'll never understand, it's guys. Here's 20 things about them I and the rest of the world's female population just don't get:

1. They just plain don't make sense!
2. They think everything is funny. Like calling your tiny bff a fairy or sticking pencils in your ridiculously thick hair for no apparent reason.
3. They have to smell their clothes to know if they're clean. Hello?! If it's got grass/mud/ketchup stains all over it IT'S NOT CLEAN!!!
4. They will willingly go to the bathroom outdoors. Once, in a traffic jam, I was scarred by the sight of some guy doing his... um, business on the side of the road.
5. Maybe this doesn't apply to all guys, but at my school, we have a problem with them feeling the need to use the urinals in the men's room as jungle gyms. (EW!!!)
6. They sag their pants. Trust me, just because you think your Spiderman boxers are awesome doesn't mean everyone else does.
7. They think it's cool to wear their hair like Justin Bieber. Okay, maybe that's not such a bad thing if you're trying to attract crazed fans, but it certainly annoys those of us who can't stand the guy.
8. Even worse, they think it's cool to flip their JB hair out of their face every five seconds. I'm sorry, it's not cool, it looks like you're having some kind of head seizure!
9. They're rude to girls around their guy friends, even if they really like them.
10. They seem to start every sentences with the word, "Dude!"
11. They wear shorts. In the dead of winter. Please explain this phenomena to me!
12. They're so judgmental about other guys! Just because he'd rather draw or play an instrument or something instead of spend every waking hour playing football or video games doesn't mean he's gay.
13. They think every conflict can be resolved by a yelling match or an all-out fist war.
14. They use Axe/Allspice/other cheap cologne. And they think it attracts us... HA!
15. They don't care about school or their future for the most part. Not saying that there aren't guys out there that do care about stuff like that, but the vast majority of them don't.
16. They're only attracted to girls for their looks. Again, I know not all guys are like this, but a lot of them are.
17. They're lazy.
18. They're so messy! If you know a guy that's completely organized 100% of the time, let me know.
19. They think ridiculous hairstyles are cool. Seriously, just look at all the weird ways guys have done their hair throughout history (eg. the powdered wig, ducktail, mullet, mohawk, JB haircut, etc.)!
20. And last but not least, they never outgrow bathroom humor!
